Ribeye Cheese Steaks

1 Pound Ribeye Steak
French Onion Soup Mix
Worcestershire Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Butter
Onions (Optional)
Mushrooms (Optional)
Your Preference of Cheese

  1. Slice Ribeye steak across the top to thin slices.  Trim to your liking (get rid of any hard fat)
  2. Slice ribeye against the grain into approximately 1" x 1" pieces (bite size)
  3. Put meat in bowl
  4. Put splash of worcestershire on steak
  5. Sprinkle with French Onion Soup mix
  6. Hand mix the meat and let sit for about 30 minutes
  7. Transfer the meat mixture to sauce pan
  8. Put some beef stock/broth in the pan.
  9. Season with salt, pepper, parsley, garlic, and onion powder
  10. Bring meat to boil and reduce heat to a simmer
  11. Cook for at least 30 minutes.  The longer you cook the more tender it will become
  12. Drain meat into colander to get rid of excess juice
  13. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter on medium heat in frying pan
  14. Add onion or whatever toppings you like
  15. Add steak
  16. Cook until steak is charred a little and tender
  17. Add cheese.  You can either add to top of steak mixture or mix it altogether.
