Ribeye Cheese Steaks

1 Pound Ribeye Steak
French Onion Soup Mix
Worcestershire Sauce
Salt
Pepper
Parsley
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Butter
Onions (Optional)
Mushrooms (Optional)
Your Preference of Cheese
- Slice Ribeye steak across the top to thin slices. Trim to your liking (get rid of any hard fat)
- Slice ribeye against the grain into approximately 1" x 1" pieces (bite size)
- Put meat in bowl
- Put splash of worcestershire on steak
- Sprinkle with French Onion Soup mix
- Hand mix the meat and let sit for about 30 minutes
- Transfer the meat mixture to sauce pan
- Put some beef stock/broth in the pan.
- Season with salt, pepper, parsley, garlic, and onion powder
- Bring meat to boil and reduce heat to a simmer
- Cook for at least 30 minutes. The longer you cook the more tender it will become
- Drain meat into colander to get rid of excess juice
- Heat 2 tablespoons of butter on medium heat in frying pan
- Add onion or whatever toppings you like
- Add steak
- Cook until steak is charred a little and tender
- Add cheese. You can either add to top of steak mixture or mix it altogether.
